For a variety of reasons, I've decided to skip going to Burningman this year in favor of going to Shake Lasta & I'm wondering if I'm the only one? If not why are you skippping the burn for the Boats?

I made a promise to myself never to return to Burning Man untill I could afford to go back with my own gas-powered go-kart. That I could race people with.
I'm skipping Symbiosis as well in favor of Shasta... kind of the same reason. Water is better than dust choking you when trying to dance. The Angel's Camp dust is fucking intolerable.

Fri, October 6, 2006 - 11:55 AMafter going to both this year I have to say that if I were to do it all over again and only choose one I would absolutely choose Shasta. Shasta is much more relaxing and everyone you know and love is just a boat or two away. I can't wait for next year but if I can I will go to both.
